ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Namaste! My name is Dhara. I started learning Classical Yoga over 7 years ago with my teacher Dr. Vijay Pratap. At that time I was suffering from severe and frequent headaches. My teacher had inspired me to look within for answers and to watch my diet and life style. During that time, I came across an Ayurveda (ancient science from India) book called Dhanvantari by Harish Johri. This book inspired me to make diet and life style changes. As I continued my interest and practice in Yoga, Pranayama(breath work), Meditation I learned more and more about my own self.

I became a Certified Yoga teacher, studied Ayurveda and also became a Certified Life Coach. This led me to realize my true passion and interest in living an authentic life leading to more peace, happiness and health. I wanted to share my learning with people and left a high paying corporate job and started my own business and website (www.dailyrising.com). I now offer the following services:

  • Yoga Classes: This is a simple yoga class that anyone can join. Its main focus is to listen to your own body and learn to know your inner-self. You will learn to be more flexible, toned, balanced and calmer after your practice. A simple breathing practice will also be included in the class.
